DH has finally finished stripping off the last bit of wallpaper in the living room at last! Took 3 days! They’ve finally widened the bit between dining room and living room. That was a toughie because it had two skins, the outer bit being the original outside wall of house. More kitchen units have been dismantled and the tiling has been taken off the wall. I’m so happy to see the last vestiges of the previous owners go. We’ve made do for 10 years since we moved in basically. The utility room is taking shape – wooden slats for flooring is in place and all the electrics in there have been done. Boy is it noisy around here! Will be glad when all the demolition is finished.
