We’ve been working really hard this easter weekend to clear the downstairs plus kitchen in readiness for the builders to start work on Tuesday. As DH has escaped to an all day shoot – field archery – I thought I’d take a breather too and decided to do some crafting.
Using the rocking technique, I stamped on the largest flower from Petal Pizzazz on Very Vanilla cardstock and just plain stamped an assortment of flowers and cut round them to make a collage. This is one of the techniques I will be covering in my Technique Club which is scheduled to start at the end of May, after I get my house and kitchen back in running order!!
I used a swirly motif to stamp on the opposite corners, in a contrasting colour, adhered a decorative strip to match and layered stamped images “thanks” from Level 2 Hostess set, and a sentiment layered onto a punched scalloped oval. Tied a stay put knot to dress it up and further embellished inside of card with swirls on bottom left and top right corners as shown in picture.
Thanks for looking.
