Sadly, I have no Daddy to make this for, nor does DH, but there are gazillions of Dad’s still out there who still need cards made for them, so I came up with this design.
The left hand edge was embossed in gold with the Scandinavian wheel pattern and a length of Whisper White grosgrain made into a stay put bow was attached.
Seen from above, the card looks like this.
I pricked holes all round right hand edges only of aperture and the card so I could faux stitch in Choc Chip marker. The chipboard letter “d” was stamped on with the Scandinavian wheel also in Choc Chip and adhered to bottom right of front of card.
I stamped the table in Chocolate Chip, and inked the wellies with different coloured markers, applied dimensionals and adhered to front flap.
I added a triple stamped image of the windmill and bird (not visible in this picture) on back of flap in Really Rust ink.
This is a close up of the inside, the Dad sentiment from Greetings Eight was stamped in versamark on Whisper White and embossed in gold and I stamped the flower pots in Really Rust, cut out the image and used dimensionals to adhere to bottom right corner of page.
Thanks for looking.
Love it – another lovely fold to try out – keep the ideas coming!!
