Shock, horror – no blogging for a week and 4 posts in one day today! In my defence, I couldn’t really post until I was sure everyone had received their cards!
This is the last one for today – my Stampin’ Up! Mummy, Amanda, has finally achieved her dream of being self-employed as a full time crafter doing what she loves best – her new “dawn” as she calls it – so that begged for making another card to congratulate her on attaining her goal 6 months ahead of schedule!
Amanda loves roses, and she likes working with Pretty in Pink and Close to Cocoa so here it is.
Dry embossed oval and dots round it on Pretty in Pink matted onto Whisper White, “happy future” sentiment from Greetings Eight gold embossed and attached to Pretty in Pink with a dimensional, wide pink stitched grosgrain threaded through underneath mat and secured with a clear button and linen thread, stamped rose buds cut out and attached in top left corner of the matted sentiment. I used a Martha Stewart checker board punch for the edge just to break away from the often used SU scallop edge punch.
This is a close up of the dry embossed oval and dots surrounding it.
It is a beautiful card Elaine, thank you very much.
