My apologies for the lack of post, have had a busy diary and no time to blog – it’s a rather time consuming exercise as I have to set up the studio, take pictures, and construct and compose and that’s when mistakes creep in because I’m trying to rush everything and then it’s just a waste of precious materials. Anyway, I made this for a friend using the Autumn Days set which I can’t get enough of at the moment. The pheasant was stamped on a customised felt ink pad using reinkers and I stamped about 25 images with it so it’s come in handy for this card.
This is an easel card, perfect for making calendars this time of year. It looks like an ordinary 4″x4″ card until you open it up.
When opened, it reveals a calender which acts as a barrier to prop the card top up when it’s in use.
From the side, it looks like this.
Stamps: Autumn Days
Ink: Ruby Red, More Mustard, Re-inkers: Ruby Red, More Mustard, Really Rust, Not Quite Navy
Papers: Really Rust, More Mustard, Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla, Old Olive scraps
Accessories: Eyelet Border Punch, piece of felt, dimensionals, linen thread, latte button, Fine Cosmo glitter, snips, tombow
Oooh, I like that, it looks really lovely. I really must get around to trying that felt technique!!
