We’re back! Here’s a piccy of the European Office – not many opportunities to have the UK, German and French staff altogether plus VIPs from Head Office! Unfortunately, the lovely Paula Gory, our country manager, chose to duck her head just as I “clicked” the camera! So you have to look hard to see her head!
I don’t know everyone’s names, but in the middle row are the big wigs from left to right – Jasmine who “knobbled” the whole event together, Pam Morgan, Shelli Gardiner, her other half, Sterling, and right on the end is Dave Baugh. In the front row, second in from the left is Eileen Hain, and Chris next to her from the German Office who are the UK Demo support team.
What a useful and illuminating experience Stampin’ Up!’s first European Convention has been. Meeting Shelli, our CEO, Dave Baugh, VP of International Relations, Pam Morgan, VP Demonstrator Relations and many more who were instrumental in making this such a success. The meeting of like minded people who share in the love of Stampin’ Up! not only in just the products they market, but as a company who genuinly cares about its Demonstrators, its ethos in operating as a debt free company now spanning across seven countries and its continuing growth as we, their Demonstrators try to inspire, create and share that ethos with everyone we meet.
Added to that, we had an opportunity to share the joy of the achievements that other Demonstrators have achieved at the Awards Dinner, recognising the milestones they have reached and sharing in the excitement of what is yet to come – a trip to Monaco, prizes for attaining sales targets, for recruiting and one for being the kindest, most helpful and most approachable too.
We had addresses to do with recruiting, statistics on how the European market has grown in terms of both sales and recruitment, how to sustain and continue its momentum, moving the business forward, demonstrations, new business ideas, demonstrations in how to demonstrate (from my upline – Amanda Fowler who did a fabulous job, so much so that Shelli herself complimented her on it) and what the future plans are in store for SU in the next year which we can then share with our customers.
That’s it in a nutshell.
