The challenge this fortnight was to make a criss-cross box and a lid for it. Criss cross boxes don’t normally have a lid but I incorporated one, nevertheless and wanted it to look like a big envelope.
Of course having made the box, I couldn’t leave it empty, so I made six cards to put in it. All were made using the Rub Ons and were quick and easy to do. I only stamped the sentiments. In the “Say it with Scallops” stamp set there was a “thank you” which fitted perfectly into the Scallop square punch.
These are the other 3 cards to make up 6 cards in all for the box.
Recipe:
Stamps: Oval All, Sincere Salutations, Wonderful Words, Say it with Scallops
Ink: Sage Shadow, Chocolate Chip, To the Nines Specialty papers
Papers: Sage Shadow, Whisper Whie, Kraft, Chocolate Chip
Accesssories: Hidden Garden Blossoms Rub Ons, Chocolate Chip 1″ double stitched grosgrain, Chocolate Chip Taffeta ribbon, 5/8″ Chocolate Chip grosgrain ribbon, Large Oval punch, Scallop Oval punch, Scallop square punch, Eyelet Border punch, silver elastic cord
Those cards are STUNNING Elaine. You are going to have to do a rub-ons tutorial at the next team day!
Oh Elaine! These cards are gorgeous! My fav colour combo too. I love them. Didn't expect these rub ons to be so gorgeous. Another item on my wish list. Good thing it's Mother's Day soon!!!!! Love the box too.
