Ta-da! This was a 3-D project I made as a display for a Sale-a-bration Event I hosted yesterday. So I can reveal all now. I had alot of fun playing with this – making it out of copy paper and tweaking the design until I was happy with it before actually using DSP. I had a Valentine theme going, and this is my “lurve” train!
For those of you who took the time to try and guess (I ought to mention that clever Steph nailed it very early on) some of you were getting warm, a big THANK YOU!! Whoever wrote the program for scheduling posts has been a godsend – as for the rest of the week I was busy making stuff for the event and had no time to post. I set this up last Sunday so it just merrily posted in my absence so my apologies for not attending to your responses immediately.
Now that I’ve got a bit of breathing space, I’ll take some piccies of the stuff I made for the event and will post soon.
Back to the train – change the colours and it’s great for a kid’s party with bags of sweeties, mini marshmallows in the carriages as a table decoration. I wish I’d done it in blue now so my grandson could use it for his birthday. Oh well, guess I’ll have to make another one while it’s still fresh in my mind. I didn’t write any instructions – it would’ve been a tome in the making not to mention all the photos illustrating each step.
Hope you like it!
This is fab!! What a great idea as well. And if you ever do get round to writing those instructions, be sure to send some my way LOL Right now who do I know with a little boy who might want one??!!
