I’ve been feeling under the weather and thought I’d draw on some of my archived stash of cards. I usually make a stack of cards when I’m in the “zone”, have a mammoth photo session and file it in my photo albums on the computer when the brain is sluggish and I can’t think up a design or have the energy to set up the “studio” and get clicking with my camera. I’ve made quite a few of these easel cards and this one uses the Vintage Vogue set. The lacey effect was achieved by punching a strip of Very Vanilla cardstock with the Eyelet Border Punch and using a bone folder to soften and breakdown the cardstock, rather like curling ribbon and then it becomes much more malleable and you can gather it and adhere to the back of your project to “frame” it. Recipe: Stamps: Vintage Vogue, Very Vintage jumbo wheel Ink: Perfect Plum jumbo cartridge, Elegant Eggplant, Perfect Plum, Versamark Paper: Pale Plum, Perfect Plum, Kraft Accessories: 1/4″ Elegant Eggplant grosgrain ribbon, white gel pen, bone folder, adhesive, dimensionals, eyelet border punch, snips, Designer brads, jumbo handle
Absolutely beautiful! xx
