I made this Get Well card for a lovely lady who is in hospital at the moment and is likely to be convalescing at home for some time. Here goes. I cut a strip of Bravo Burgundy card stock and stamped the Dot to Dot from the new mini in versamark as a background and matted it onto a piece of Always Artichoke which has a decorative border punched out below. I stamped a variety of heart images in Bravo Burgundy – on the largest solid heart image, I inked in Always Artichoke, stamped off a couple of times to lighten the colour before stamping on to the card stock and kissed the Fine Flourish stamp and used a rock and roll technique in a contrasting colour to define it more. The heart with “friend” written across it was stamped a second time, the word cut out and raised on dimensionals to the corresponding heart. The sentiment is from Sincere Salutations which was double matted before adhering with dimensionals over the ribbon on the bottom right. I made a border to run vertically down the length of the card using the trio of hearts stamped in Bravo Burgundy and after I tied the ribbon, punched out some extra ones with the Heart to Heart punch adhered with dimensionals over the ribbon. I added a wood grain one in the bottom left and the sentiment is from a set in my private collection.
