This fortnight’s challenge was a colour combo generated by Scrapmaster’s Paradisecolor combo generator and the colour combo I chose is Old Olive, Barely Banana, Melon Mambo and Very Vanilla. The side twist was to use one of the satin ribbons. I used Barely Banana for my base card, cut out a circle in Barely Banana, and a smaller one in Very Vanilla card stock which I stamped with En Francais in Melon Mambo. I used versamark and white embossed “All a Flutter” (from the mini) on vellum, cut it out, inked with Melon Mambo and wiped off surplus with a tissue and adhered it to a 1 3/4″ circle which was partially trimmed to fit round edge of larger circle. The bottom edges of Melon Mambo and Old Olive mats were punched with an eyelet border punch and layered. I tied Old Olive satin ribbon in a bow before adhering to the Old Olive card stock and stamped “for you” in Melon Mambo at the bottom right of card base.
