I’ve been meaning to make a set of 3″x 6″ cards with these foil backed papers eversince they came into our catalogue but haven’t had the opportunity to “play” with it till now. On Sunday, Parkside MenCap are having a Fun Day, and I rented a 4m x 4m pitch so these are some of the samples I made for my display. I made a set of 8 cards and a matching gift box which will make a nice present for someone, if I can bare to part with it! The stamp set I used is “Mr & Mrs”. I love this set – classic good looks – don’t think I’ll tire of it. The box was made from a sheet of 12″x 12″ textured Basic Grey cardstock with an integral lid. I attached a piece of Bridesmaid DSP to the end of the flap to extend its length so that it could tuck into the belly band surrounding the box. I omitted gluing the front so that the lid could tuck into it thus holding box together. In this picture, the lid has been taken out. This picture shows the lid being tucked into the box. Here is the box assembled!
These cards are brilliant Elaine and a gift box for them as well. Just perfect. Hope you made lots of money.
