Happy Moments, Occasionally

My nephew’s partner’s little girl just had her third birthday and this stamp set which I received as a gift was just perfect for her. It was stamped in Black Stazon and I set to colouring with my SU markers. The basket looked bare and needed something so I used the cherry from On a Pedestal. I added a “happy birthday” from Happy Moments which was available during Sale-a-bration 2010 and wrote her name on the little flag to personalise it. I stuck to a simple colour pallette using Cameo Coral, Blush Blossom and Whisper White for the card stock and ran a Cameo Coral marker over Whisper White taffeta ribbon to die it the same colour as the card stock to match. On the inside, I stamped the cake from “Happy Moments” in Black Stazon and coloured it in. The present in the bottom left and flowers are from “Occasionally” – a set which contains 28 stamps and a really useful one because it covers the whole year’s occasions from winter to summer, St Patrick’s day, christmas, autumn, father’s day, birthdays, Hannukah, halloween, christmas and contains sentiments too.
