August has been such a busy month with birthdays and anniversaries, I’ve barely had a chance to take a breather and I am so behind too! I was late for this one, and used my newly acquired Cupcakes wheel to make this card for a little girl. It never occurred to me to purchase a black ink cartridge for both the standard and jumbo wheels, until recently. I usually use the classic ink pads and whatever coloured ink cartridges available in the catty, nearly all except black! Well, I’ve finally got both, so I “wheeled” in black with the cartridge – it made life so much easier and then coloured in to my heart’s content all the cupcake and confetti images! The picture above shows the card laid flat. This is a view of the card stood upright from above. I stamped two images of each cupcake and sandwiched the linen thread between the pair of matching cupcakes before suspending it from the layers in the base card. I added a tag so I could write her name and say who it’s from. This is the back view. I hope she likes it! It was just something a little different from the norm.
LOVE this card Elaine – you have done such a wonderful job with the cutting out too – those cupcakes are tricky to cut neatly!
Hope you are feeling better X
This is sooo cute!!! I'm glad I found your blog!
