I have been such a bad blogger – not had time to schedule posts or sit down and have a good old play with the new stuff from the catty. Where did the first half of October go? I’ve been using up odd scraps of paper, the 3D bird is in the main Idea Book & Catalog and looked like a bit of fun so I made it to set up this photo together with the paper cone, again used from scraps. The tulle was from my daughter’s left over bits for her costume when she used to do ballet. It must be 20 years old at least! Glad I’ve got some use for it now. lol! The cone was made from a 6″ square piece of cardstock cut diagonally. I put some sticky strip on the diagonal and added the ribbon detail, then formed the cone. Easy peasy – stamped the christmas greeting from Perfect Punches, stuck it on with a dimensional on the front of the cone and you have a ready made decoration to hang on the tree in a twinkling of the eye!
