Believe it or not, this started out as a balsa wood picture frame which was given to us to alter as part of the group challenge for Amanda’s Inspiring Inkin’ team. I wanted to showcase the new 1/8″ taffeta ribbons which I threaded through some buttons and also to show the new DSP in the new catty . I only had limited supplies as Demonstrators were only allowed to purchase a small selection of pre-launch product so this is what I came up with. It also show cased the extra large two-step bird punch. The DSP paper is from Greenhouse Gala – I stamped it in Wild Wasabi (one of the new colours) with the Just Perfect Alphabet set, cut around the letters and adhered or raised on dimensionals alternate letters. The background is Crumb Cake card stock and I inked the Texture jumbo wheel and rolled onto the Crumb Cake cardstock to create a “canvassy” type background. To my surprise, my challenge entry won. Unfortunately I haven’t got any pictures of the other entries, but in my humble opinion, they too were worthy of a win. Thank you to everybody for voting for mine.
