Welcome Christmas 1

The next few posts shows more samples I made for my most recent workshop. Brrrr! With winter well and truly upon us, this seemed an appropriate choice of card to make! – Looking out from a window at the snowy scene outside. The other stamp set, Lovely As a Tree, was just perfect for the background. I stamped, masked and brayered the sky. The inks I used are Basic Gray (no I didn’t spell it wrong, this is how it’s listed in the catty!), Bashful Blue and Marina Mist. I then cut the image into quarters and matted it on to Basic Gray card stock which was then mounted on to the Cherry Cobbler card base. I stamped the sentiment on a piece of Whisper White scrap and cut out the portion I wanted then matted on to Cherry Cobbler and raised on dimensionals in the centre bottom of card to finish.
