So Happy For You, Growing Green

Pumpkin Pie meets Old Olive in this one – I stamped on Whisper White and used an aqua painter to lightly paint the fern image. I stamped the floral images in Versamark and clear embossed on scrap pieces of Pumpkin Pie and used a paintbrush to pick up household bleach (undiluted) and “paint” the images – just fascinating watching it change colour and go alot lighter. You can speed up the drying process with a heat tool if you wish. Don’t forget to thoroughly wash your paint brush after using bleach! The sentiment is from the current Sale-a-bration set “So Happy for You”. I finished off the card with rhinestones for some added “bling”! For the bottom edge detail, I aligned the edge of my card stock with the top of the contour of the curly label punch and punched to create the effect as shown above.

  1. Bright and beautiful Elaine. I though you had used a non-SU edge punch until I read your text – what a fabulous use of the curly label punch! I am going to do this on my next project. X
