Sweet Summer #2 – Sale-a-bration

Same Sweet Summer stamp set, this time using the stamp to make a background on Very Vanilla card stock which was matted on to Wild Wasabi and adhered to a Certainly Celery gatefold card base. I punched two Rose Red Designer Labels to use as a “closure” for the gatefold card, the first one was adhered to the left hand gatefold taking care to only apply adhesive on one half. The second one was adhered to the right gatefold (ensuring it was aligned with the first label) and the surplus half was cut off – not pictured. The central flower was stamped in Rose Red ink on Very Vanilla and Rose Red card stock. I punched the flower with a 1″ circle punch, inked edges then matted on to a 1 1/4″ Pink Pirouette circle and raised on a dimensional on the left of circle so that you can tuck the right gatefold into the space in between, pictured above. I cut the middle layer of the flower in Rose Red, adhered with a dimensional and finished with a large pearl. This is the inside of the card, the sentiment is from the “Thank You Kindly” set.
