My baby grandson left me a little pressie – an awful cold and for an ashmatic, this is horrid, so please forgive me the smudges on this sample – I’m just not up to doing it again to make it perfect! I utilised my glossy card stock scraps – waste not, want not – glossy card is too precious to throw away. I stamped with versamark, then popped the images with Stampin’ Pastels. I used Whisper White Craft ink to stamp the flowers on scraps of Rich Razzleberry, Melon Mambo and Elegant Eggplant and cut out just one of the flowers to highlight main flower image, adhered with a glue dot and finished with a mini pearl. I did the same with the leaf – stamping on to Certainly Celery with a darker ink – Wild Wasabi, cut it out and adhered with glue dots also. I stamped the bee and butterfly in Black Stazon directly on to the glossy card stock then coloured in with Pumpkin Pie, Rich Razzleberry, Elegant Eggplant and Melon Mambo markers. The “thank you” is from the Occasional Greetings and was stamped on the side in Whisper White Craft ink – this is where I smudge it – oops! I didn’t think it needed ribbon because it had the little pearls in the flower centres. Besides, there just wasn’t any room! Hope you like.
Gorgeous card and I love all of the fun techniques.
