Prize Draw Winner, Brighton February 2011

Firstly, a BIG “thank you” to everyone who visited Stampin’ Up! at the show in Brighton between 11-13 February, 2011. Hannah from Hove won our Prize Draw and this is the card I made her. Hopefully she should have received her card and her goodies by now and I can safely post it on my blog! I used Vintage Vogue, and the Level 1 Hostess Set, Punch Potpourri stamp set for this card. The “congratulations” is from Occasional Quotes, a Level 3 Hostess set. Colours used here are Rich Razzleberry and Pretty in Pink, Whisper White and Old Olive. I designed a special card for potential recruits. These ladies expressed an interest in becoming demonstrators themselves. This card uses the 1st Level Hostess stamp set called Punch Potpourri and the flourish is from Vintage Vogue. The colours here are Rose Red, Bashful Blue and Wild Wasabi. I don’t know about you, but when I have to do a lot of cards, I like a bit of variety. This is a batch of “thank yous” which I was allocated to do for the other ladies and gentlemen who took the time and trouble to enter the draw and chat to us, so they deserved a personal “thank you” too. I used “Just Believe” stamp set. There are 9 stamps in the set and is available both in wood mount 116948 @ £32.95, or 120453 in clear mount @ £25.95. The colours used here were suggestions from the Colour Chart – Rich Razzleberry and Pumpkin Pie. Somehow it works. .. and here is the other design I made using the Ornate Flowers stamp set for the rest of my “thank you” cards. There are 4 stamps in this set, wood mount 121289 @ £16.95 or clear mount 121294 @ £13.95. Incidentally, this stamp set has co-ordinating Designer Series Paper called Greenhouse Gala 117167 @ £8.75 per pack. I didn’t use any on this card – as I had to do so many, I kept the card clean and simple. The card base is in Crumb Cake, stamped on Whisper White and matted on to Riding Hood Red. I still have more to do! Am taking a coffee break and blogging! The striped grosgrain was too wide, so I cut it in half and tucked it underneath the scalloped edge layer and anchored the “fish tail” part with a rhinestone. My cunning plan was to stop it from fraying. I also added some Dazzling Diamonds on the flowers. Hope you like it.
