As we approach the wedding season and still gripped by wedding fever from the Royal Wedding, I thought I better making a “Wedding” card. This sweet tandem bicycle image Wedding Wheels is a single stamp from the mini – page 30(123475 @ £6.95). I have had to take this picture from a different angle in order to capture the reflection of the gold embossing of the Wedding Wheels image. I’ve only partially embossed the image with the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder. This is a technique I am planning to teach my club ladies, so I will post a tutorial at a later stage. Watch this space. Some Champagne Mist was sponged on to the raised embossed part which you can just make out in the close up of the card here. For the inside of the card, I cut a piece of Sahara Sand 3.75″ x 5.5″, centred and cut an oval aperture, then dry embossed it with the Perfect Polka Dots folder. I cut another oval in Very Vanilla slightly smaller than the Sahara Sand aperture, so that the Pink Pirouette card base would be visible, inked edges of Very Vanilla oval, stamped the sentiment from Occasional Quotes – (a Level 3 Hostess set) then adhered it to card base with dimensionals. I punched out a couple of hearts, bound one with linen thread and attached a faux pearl to finish.
Okay you!! I am searching and searching and I need to know how you did that embossing and created the frame. You have to tell me…now!!! It looks fab, I love it. Please tell me 🙂
