I’ve used the Blossom Petal Punch to create the skirt for this image – a stamp set from my personal collection. I ran cardstock weight vellum through the Big Shot with the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder and punched out a few small petals and adhered it with a two-way glue pen. I cut a tiny strip of Crumb Cake seam binding ribbon, lay a small piece of sticky strip for the waist band and faux ruched the ribbon to resemble a belt.
For the inside of the card, I punched two pieces of Very Vanilla cardstock on all four corners with the scallop trim corner punch, randomly stamped the sprig of blossom in Crumb Cake and the sentiment on one of the pieces of Very Vanilla as shown, leaving the other piece blank so I could pen a few lines.
I made this for a special lady who is going through a difficult time and just wanted to drop her a line to say how much I cared. I hope she’s received it by now and that she wasn’t too traumatised by her ordeal on Tuesday. You know who you are – if you’re reading this, big big HUGS!!!
