Goodness me, my daughter and SIL just celebrated their 8th Wedding Anniversary. It only seems like yesterday when she flew the nest. I raided my personal collection to make them this anniversary card, changing the sentiment from “Be My Valentine” to Happy Anniversary instead. It was double stamped so I could cut out the banner and pop it up on dimensionals.
Am loving the Top Note die – I cut 2, one in Real Red and one in Whisper White. The stitched edging part on the Whisper White was cut off so that it would reveal the Real Red layer underneath to frame it. I stamped the heart first, masked the heart then stamped with the background stamp.
Here’s the inside of the card. I used Vintage Vogue and the sentiment is from Occasional Quotes, a Hostess Level 3 set.
