I had the most wonderful workshop last night – a group of lovely ladies I’m getting to know and who all share my passion for Stampin’ Up! My hostess asked for a boys’ birthday theme, so running through August I will be sharing the samples I made for this workshop (that is when I eventually get round to taking the pics!).
So this is the card we made, her favourite colours are reds and blues – I forgot to take a photo of the Hostess gift – I made a little card container out of the 2 scallop envelops and some cute 3×3″ gift cards to go in it. If I get the energy, I may duplicate it and blog it at a later date.
I digress – back to the M & T card – you guessed it – Real Red and Pacific Point for the card base. I demonstrated using the distressing kit and the spritzer tool and this is the result. The Pacific Point piece was put in the square lattice folder then run through the Big Shot, edges torn, linen thread wrapped round three times and adhered to card base. The image was stamped on Very Vanilla, edges torn, scrumpled and distress ink applied, spritzed with Real Red and Pacific Point markers before adhering to card base with dimensionals.
For the finishing touch, a little sentiment from Tiny Tags over the linen thread as shown.
Hope you like it.
