Oh dear, has it really been that long since I last posted? My family are visiting from abroad and I seem to be chasing my tail, barely having sufficient time to keep up with my SU committments let alone blog so sadly that has taken a back seat. It was my own team quarterly meeting yesterday and I’m snatching a few minutes today before the rest of the UK clan descends on us later today – dinner for 17 tonight at the last head count and another 4 bodies sleeping over as it’s half term! Anyhow, I digress, so back to crafting.
Needless to say, I haven’t had much time to create new stuff, so I’m drawing on the stash of samples I’d made for my Hostess event some time ago. This is from the “Easy Events” set – a floral image, one of eight stamps with a greeting underneath “thank you” which I stamped separately and punched out with a word window punch.
It practically covers every occasion – from birthdays, babies, thank yous, weddings, christmas and even a belated greeting! You’ll find it on page 43 of the Main Idea Book & Catalogue.
Don’t you just love our new Lace Ribbon Border punch? I threaded 1/8″ taffeta ribbon through it and popped some rhinestones over the centre of the flowers and am loving the effect. I punched a 1 3/4″ circle in Pretty in Pink and layered it underneath the scallop circle just to make it pop too.
Hope you like it.
