It’s an early start for me today, off to Convention in Paris Disneyland catching the early flight to Orly from Southampton, so I’ve scheduled some posts. I’m catching the 7 am flight and have to leave home at 5 am! My DH is a superstar, having to drive me there and then put in a whole day’s work himself. I am so grateful.
These were the cards I designed for the first Countdown to Christmas class. There were 5 designs and the ladies made two of each.
I used five stamp sets for variety, Pennant Parade (new), Dasher, Contempo Christmas, Serene Snowflakes and Beautiful Season (new).
They were designed with the need for speed in mind, hoping that in spite of its simplicity it would still achieve a wow factor. We used different techniques, embedded embossing, water colouring, layering, creating a 3D effect and using crystal effects with glass glitter.
I was sorry I couldn't make that class – I like the effect of the baubles, one to try and replicate x
