Once in a while we have to make a sympathy card and when that happens it’s always hard to get those creative juices flowing. Here’s my attempt at one. I pulled out several stamp sets – Creative Elements for the scrolls stamped on opposite corners in Basic Gray ink mounted on the Basic Gray cardstock, which was then mounted on to a Whisper White card base.
The poppies (at least I think they’re poppies) were double stamped, once on the card then stamped a second time on a piece of scrap. The ones stamped on scrap were then cut out and popped up with dimensionals on top of the stamped image. I dry embossed with the oval framelit embossing folder and “tied” the bouquet with a brad attached to some ribbon. This trio of flowers came from the “Marry Me” set, so it isn’t just for weddings, it can be for anything your imagination will allow.
Here’s the inside. I used the Always Elegant stamps as a “filler” to feature the sentiment from Petite Pairs. More “poppies” were stamped and cut out and layered and glued as shown above.
It's beautiful Elaine and very much appreciated. Thank you for thinking of us.
