My best friend just had a new addition to her family – a grand-daughter born just before Easter. I bought some gift vouchers from “Mamas & Papas” but wasn’t keen on the gift card and envelope that they supplied, so I made my own and this is the result. I stamped the front and back of the envelope with all the little baby related images in Rose Red.
The inset images were stamped in Stazon Black and I coloured in using watercolour crayons and/or the markers. I punched out the pennants with the pennant die and the alphabet is from my personal collection which I used to stamp the baby’s name.
Can you spot a new product which will be available to all Stampin’ Up devotees very soon?
Of course I had to send a card to the proud parents and siblings too, so I rehashed this dresser card which you can seehere.
……and (hurrah!) I finally got to use one of the baby cards I’d made from this Bundle of Joy collection which is all housed in this stationery box which I made way back in 2010! The one I used is marked with an arrow. I knew it would come in handy one day!
I am having an evening off today. DH has tickets to see the “Calendar Girls” at the theatre – can’t wait!
Happy stamping!
