Easter Double Page Spread

For my Sunday share – here’s the double spread we did in my Scrapbook Sisters class in April.  The theme was all about easter.

We used the Every Egg wheel on Natural Ivory card stock and cut out the eggs individually then coloured in with markers.

The “hills” were achieved by using a curvy ruler to draw the curves on the DSP and then cut out.  We adhered one half on the page on the left.  The remaining half of the DSP was turned upside down, trimmed on the straight edge to a narrower width and adhered to the page on the right.  By doing this, it looks like one continuing curve.

The layout base is in Very Vanilla as I wanted to stamp directly on to the page.  The blank spaces have been scored to indicate where 2 x 6″x 4″ photos should be dropped on the left page, 1 x 4″ x 4″ photo, 2 x 2″ x 2″ photos and 1 x 6″ x 4″ photo on the page on the right should go.  There is space for an additional 6″ x 4″ photo matted on Calypso Coral on the top left of the second page.

Recipe:

Stamps:  Every Egg standard wheel, Everybunny

Ink:  Black Stazon, Calypso Coral, Pool Party, Daffodil Delight, Lucky Limeade markers

Paper:  Everyday Enchantment DSP, Pool Party, Calypso Coral, Very Vanilla, Naturals Ivory

Accessories:  Scallop dotted ribbon punch, Top Note Bigz die, Alphabet Simple letters, Ruffled ribbon in Lucky Limeade, Calypso Coral, Pool Party, Watercolour Pencils, blender pen

Enjoy the rest of Sunday – hope the weather bucks up!  It’s been so wet all this week.
