Sometimes my mojo takes a hike, or I get a mental block. In order to kick start it again, I’ll pull out stamps in my personal collection to play with and I goofed with this one, mistaking Lucky Limeade for Island Indigo! – Never wanting to chuck something I’d spent time on, I recycled by just writing over the Lucky Limeade letters in Island Indigo and sent it warts and all. I know the recipient will be forgiving, as none of us are perfect are we? I make mistakes all the time – I just cover it up with a punched label or some other embellishment – there, that’s my secret out! In hindsight, I should’ve done it with this card but it’s too late as I’ve already posted it!
I’ve used several techniques on this card – stamping off, rock n’ roll, distressing to get that vintage feel.
