Still catching up with my Summer Mini event projects, this time with the Mixed Blossom set. Although I’m not really a “pink” person, I just love the colour combo here. Pink Pirouette with Wisteria Wonder the delicious new Specialty Designer Papers Sweet Shop.
I used the Attic Boutique Papers with this one – just love that subtle Pool Party background with the lace doiley print. This time I just punched a flower with the Blossom punch and used a faux suede technique to open up the flower making 2 layers with only the one punched flower. You just need to work the cardstock until the layers separate and carefully peel it back, leaving the centre in tact. The background was stamped tone on tone in Wisteria Wonder and the wing of the bird with the more intricate Mixed Bunch flower stamp.
I created a pocket using the edgelit dies – it makes such a pretty curve. The embossed Sweet Shop specialty designer papers is the exact same shade as Wisteria Wonder card stock and the jelly bean brads coordinates perfectly with this suite of papers too.
