Finally, here is the third image from the Feeling Sentimental stamp set – a Penny Farthing from a bygone era! We have a new set of Framelit dies called the Ovals Collection (page 4 SS). There are 6 dies in total, the largest being an oval scallop and 5 decreasing sizes of ovals. I cut out an oval in Very Vanilla then stamped the penny farthing in Early Espresso ink and scrunched up the card stock to distress it. The larger oval was cut out of Early Espresso Core-dinations cardstock – this was from the Autumn/Winter catalogue which has now expired. (I’m hoping this will carry into the new Annual Catalogue later in the year.) This too was scrunched and I used a sanding block to further distress this layer.
I tore a piece of First Edition, and inked the edges with Early Espresso and adhered it to the left. Did you spot something else that is new? The natural trim (page 20 SS) ribbon – I love it! The ribbon is made out of flax and cotton and I frayed the edges top and bottom just a tad before adhering it to the card. Another WOW product is the Vintage dimensional flowers on strips of tulle(pge 5 SS) – you can use them individually as I’ve done here, or you can use it as a strip – whatever takes your fancy. Best of all is that you can either use it plain as I’ve done here, or you can add whatever colour you wish by just using a sponge dauber to add colour to it!
