My base card is Crumb Cake. I love our new design ink pads, they are so juicy that it works really well with the wheel stamps – I used the standard Travel Journal wheel for some background and miniature images from Collage Curios (page 24 SS). As this card can be either a Valentine card or an anniversary one it seemed appropriate to use the Eiffel Tower in Paris “the city of amour” from Artistic Etchings (page 124AC) and the small one from Collage Curios.
I used to hoard my DSP, stroking it and admiring it, but never daring to cut, chop, tear or use it! Well, I’ve finally got over it and I’ve cut up the pretty hearts from the More Amore Specialty DSP (page 10 SS) as well as a banner. This pack also contains 2 sheets of laser cut hearts, 1 in real red and the other in Primrose Petals. I’ve simply turned it over to use the reverse side which is in white.
The Primrose Petal core-dinations cardstock (page 12 SS) was cut out with Floral Framelits and I sanded the edges to give it a vintage look and the hearts were secured with glue dots and pierced down the centre and I did some faux stitching with a marker pen.
I stamped “Amour” on the banner, added some pearls and a flower trim for the final touch.
