Hello All! Are you enjoying the Bank Holiday weekend?
I made this little box to hold 4 mini cards. The finished card size actually is only 3″ x 3″square. The card stock is cut at 3″ x 7″ and then scored at 2″ and 5 ” on the long side. I got my inspiration on Pinterest, but can’t remember who the original designer was, so thank you whoever you are. The box design is just a smaller version of one that the lovely Amanda taught us at one of our quarterly training sessions. The colours chosen were quite bright – Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo, Pool Party and Lucky Limeade. After all the grey of winter, we need more colour!
These will make wonderful gifts for your friends and/or family and especially for Hostesses at workshops. For the card closures, I used the Ciao, Baby! (SSp16) set which were punched out with the petite curly label punch and dimensionals were placed on the right underside of the label so that it would act as a closure for the card. The little images are from the Spring Sampler set (SSp23). I cut 2″x 12″ strips of DSP and used these to embellish the cards with as well as the envelop flaps so that they would coordinate with the cards. The box was decorated with the lovely natural trim ribbon – it looks like burlap. I frayed the edges and attached a single flower trim with a glue dot.
Hope you like it.
