Don’t get too excited! This isn’t a sneak peek of a new stamp set – it’s a stamp set from my personal collection and I’m just being a little self-indulgent and you will see why when you scroll down to the next pic! The front of the card is just a pre-quel to what follows on the inside! There’s method in my madness!
I have featured a retiring stamp set on the inside of my card called Elements of Style. The colours I’ve used are Midnight Muse and Cajun Craze. These colours are staying but sadly the stamp set is not.
You see the theme running through here? SU are ditching Artistic Etchings, another long time favourite and I will be lost without that Eiffel Tower image!
Here are all the stamp images, the crown, “Amour”, Eiffel Tower, the intricate patterned circle, a key and the bar on the bottom left stamped in Midnight Muse.. The colours used for this card are the 2012-2014 In Colours.
I couldn’t very well end on a negative note, so here’s a Clean & Simple card. We’re having to say “good-bye” to Patterned Party (one of the images are the presents on the bottom left) which is a great set particularly for children’s parties. Another favourite is the “splodge” pattern from French Foliage – that too is retiring 🙁
I didn’t manage to incorporate all the images from Patterned Party or French Foliage stamp sets in this design, but you get the gist. The spritzer tool (made the fine splatter patterns in Calypso Coral) is being retired too. So if you don’t already own these and would like to take this opportunity to purchase them or anything else which takes your fancy, please email me elaine.harding@googlemail.com and we’ll take it from there.
Remember, all the stamped sets featured in this post are subject to availability while supplies last with the exception of the stamp set I used for the fronts of my cards. That stamp set is not available for purchase in the UK.
Thanks for stopping by. Happy stamping!
