Book Marks to match!

Yesterday was my launch party and I thought it would be really neat to make some bookmarks to match their brand new catalogues!  I couldn’t bring myself to part with all those reels of gorgeous striped grosgrain ribbon after it retired, and what better use to put it to than this!

The stamp set is Mixed Bunch with its coordinating punch.  I made these in a jiffy at the crack of dawn and personalised them.  I used the  7/8″ scallop circle punch to punch out Riding Hood Red flower centres, and used a marker to just ink the letters from the Occasions Alphabet stamp set.  I punched the letters out with a 3/4″ circle punch and added a tiny pearl.

Everyone was “WOWED” by the colours this year.  I made this chart so that it was easier for them to see.  It served a quadruple purpose – they could see the actual shade of the cardstock, how the ink looks stamped on Whisper White,  the punched out shape, and  some of the different stamps in the coordinating stamp set.

I can’t take credit for these lovely cards – my lovely downline Catherine created these for her own launch party.  Can you guess what colour families they belong to?

Did you guess, or could you see straight away which colour family is which?  Starting from the top and working your way downwards

  1. Regals
  2. Brights
  3. Subtles
  4. Neutrals
  5. 2013-2015 In Colors

Thank you Catherine!

Also a big “Thank you” to the lovely Val for her yummy cupcakes – I’ve thrown my diet book out the window this week – sometimes a girl’s got to give in to temptation every now and again!

Thank you all for coming – it gave me such a buzz to be able to share it all with you!
