For my Sunday Share here are some cards I made with one of the Sale-a-bration Free product which could be yours with each £45 spend. The Kit comprises 8 cards with pre-cut embellishments, gold elasticated thread and bakers twine, crumb cake envelops and gold foil envelop liners.
This is the basic card following the design instructions on the kit, or rather the picture on the kit.
Typically of me, I didn’t follow their designs. I cut up one of the non-English tags and used it as a tag.
As we’re a European market, the sentiments also came in French and German, of course! I cut up the gold foil envelop liner, the part that isn’t visible, and dry embossed it then used it as an additional layer here. With the tiny bit of leftover gold foil, I used the itty bitty butterfly punch to punch out a gold foil butterfly and also one in Basic Black. I cut the Basic Black butterfly in half and glued it to the underside of the gold butterfly’s wings for some definition. The dotty embossing folder also happens to be part of the Sale-a-bration items you could earn for free.
I used the Delicate Doilies Sizzlets for this one and the Lots of Thanks stamp set. I just used the back of one of the labels and stamped “thank you” on it. The pearls have been coloured with sharpie pens to compliment the Calypso Coral dots.
That’s all for today. There are four more cards which I have designed, but I’m saving them for my Summer/Spring/SAB preview event next Sunday. If you’re local to Fleet, Hampshire and would like to attend, contact me – elaine.harding@googlemail.com and I will send you the details.
