Language of Love

My hubby’s passion is archery.  He took it up as a form of exercise to help him in his rehabilitation after open heart surgery about 4-5 years ago and is 100% now hooked on it, just as I am with Stampin’ Up!  As a homage to his sport, I made these.  There are some chunky versions on the cover of our new Spring/Summer catalogue!  Did you notice?

Well muggins here, despite the fact that I see the real McCoy all the time, I stuck my hearts the wrong way round to begin with!  Who ever heard of an arrow head pointed back right at ya!  It caused much mirth in our household!  Anyway, here’s the final result.

I stamped the heart from Language of Love on Whisper White card stock in Crumb Cake, Real Red and Coastal Cabana to coordinate with the Fresh Prints DSP paper stack which I used for the “fletchings” .  The stamped hearts were punched out with the full heart punch, and the scalloped ones were from the Hearts a Flutter framelits.
