The sunshine has brightened my mood as you can see! So it’s out with the Brights palette using Melon Mambo and Pumpkin Pie. Have you spotted this stamp set from the Spring/Summer catty? I made this for the lovely Catherine who celebrated her birthday earlier this week so I can safely post it now!
The “Happy Birthday To You” was stamped in Melon Mambo on Very Vanilla cardstock first. I also white embossed it on Melon Mambo cardstock, hand cut the banner portions then adhered it to the corresponding image on the card front base. I masked then stamped the Simple Stems floral images in Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive.
To get the two-toned effect on the large flower, I stamped the large flower from Simple Stems twice in Melon Mambo, then once in Pumpkin Pie, fussy cut, then layered and glued it.
I love the trio of candles with its “wish big” banner so I had to include it too. I punched it out with the large oval punch and offset and trimmed off the excess to the top middle right of the inside front of card base.
