Happy Easter everyone! Setting the scene for a lovely Easter Sunday. How my easter eggs, chics and bunnies made it to today I’ll never know! It took a great deal of steely resolve to resist wolfing them down I can tell you, especially since I have zero will power!
Remember my video on these rectangular card in a box last Wednesday? If not you can see it here. I kept one back to post for today. Here are the products I used for this particular one. I stamped and used the extra large oval punch to punch and layer the images and the fringe scissors for the grass. It’s been so long since I used this Positively Chevron background stamp and I’ve fallen in love with it again.
Here are the materials I used for the above. Click on the bottom corner of each picture for product details – it links directly to my online store.

It doesn’t stop there, I have another bonus project featured in this post. |

This hexagonal box contains a little surprise. To keep it all closed, I created a belly band which was constructed out of a 2″ strip of Afternoon Picnic DSP. To hide the join in the paper, I created a double layer of scalloped circles in coordinating cardstock as a label and gathered half a doily to pretty it up. |
Are you ready for the surprise? Undo the belly band and it opens up into a series of 6 triangular boxes holding a single easter egg in each. I really enjoyed making these. After two or 3 attempts using copy paper and fine tuning the design, I finally cracked it before doing the real thing on cardstock. Hope you like it!
Pop back tomorrow to see how I made those easter egg cups. Enjoy your easter weekend.
