Inspiring Inkin’ Annual Catalogue 2014-2015 Launch Blog Hop. Hi there! Today is the much anticipated Inspiring Inkin’ Blog Hop showcasing products in the new annual catalogue. You must have arrived from my lovely team mate Jessie’s blog – aren’t her projects just amazing? To all my regular visitors and those of you visiting for the very first time on this blog hop, a very warm welcome!
My posts
For first time visitors, I do weekly video tutorials on a Wednesday and post 3 to 4 times a week and you can also find me – Stampwithelaine.com on Facebook, Pinterest and Twitter. When you finish reading the post, you will find the InLinkz list at the very end.
2014-2015 Annual Catalogue
I must say that this is the best laid out catalogue we’ve ever had and we are only days away from the catty going live on July 1st! My preview event is tomorrow, so I’ve chosen a small selection to show case today as I don’t want to ruin the surprise for tomorrow. My offering is this little baby shower gift ensemble. The bag is big enough to contain a small item of clothing like baby vests or bibs with a card and mini album to go inside too.
Gift bag
We always have a complete new range of Designer Series Paper each Stampin’ Up! year. I made a gift bag with the new Lullaby DSP, combining some of last year’s In Colors (Baked Brown Sugar, Coastal Cabana, Pistachio Pudding and Crisp Cantaloupe) – with this year’s new Hello Honey. We have new stitched satin ribbon to match the 2014-16 In Colors and I used Hello Honey for the handles. See the pram in the bottom right? – It wobbles! You can interact with it – I made my own spring to attach to the back of the pram.
Interactive elements – wobbles
I did the same for the toy and the duck on this fun fold flat block card. This is the “Something for Baby” Bundle which you can find in the “Baby” section of the new catalogue. It means you can save 15% by buying both the stamp set and coordinating framelit dies together.
There are new File Tabs dies, which include the numbers 1, 2 & 3 and these products triggered the idea of building blocks. I even made some 3D booties to sit on the middle step!
Mini album
Here is the album – made out of one sheet of 12″ x 12″ card stock in Baked Brown Sugar. I stamped and die cut the baby vest and then adhered it to the belly band. The coat hanger was strategically glued so that when you pop the belly band back on, it looks as though the baby vest is hanging on the hanger!
Inside the mini album, are card inserts for capturing baby’s first moments front and back. The labels were from Project Life Cards & Labels dies and I used the Project Life corner rounder too on all the card inserts.
Blog Hopping
Enjoy the journey – if you come back to me, it means you’ve gone the complete circle. Hope you liked my projects and thanks for visiting. Now hop over to the next one on the list and see what lovely creations they have made. Feel free to leave a comment – I would love your feedback!
As the blog hop has finished, I am no longer connected to InLinkz, however you can still “hop” to all those who took part by clicking on their names which will take you directly to the blog hop post on their respective blogs rather than just to their blogs. If it’s just the blog hop posts you’d like to access, then just click the back button to return here and work down the list from here. Happy hopping, and thanks for stopping by.
