Peaceful Sunday with Peaceful Petals

I’ve had a funny old week.  Having had a week’s break following Regional Training in Telford a fortnight ago I thought I’d come home feeling rejuvenated and all ready to go! My mojo had upped sticks and deserted me and I’ve not even ventured very far into my craft cave.

Long story short, the card fronts above were the beginnings of some card swaps I was attempting to make for Telford Regional, but as you can see, I only got as far as making four!  It’s just as well they didn’t make it to Telford or I’d have nothing to show you in my blog post today!

My colour combo is Pool Party, Primrose Petal and Gumball Green. The latter two are retiring on June 30. Sadly Peaceful Petals, has not made it into next year’s catalogue, but you can see how pretty it is and I’m really sad it has had such a short season with us, so grab it while you can.  The zigzag and polka dot backgrounds were achieved with the free giveaway “eye catching ikat” photopolymer stamp set during the May promotion. I have not included it in the materials links below as they are not a sale item.

This one was created for Demo Supports’ appreciation week combined with Island Indigo.

The very first time this Peaceful Petals stamp set saw any ink was at a workshop using as many of the stamps as I could in the design as my Hostess had quite a large group attending, so I needed to keep everyone busy doing something!

I kept the inside of the card simple and left room for a written message.   Listed below are all the materials I used for the cards.

Enjoy your weekend, or what’s left of it!  Happy stamping!  I’m hoping my mojo will be back soon!
