Now I did promise to show you that this stamp set isn’t just for the nursery, or for babies! How’s this for manning-it-up?
Did you spot the mistake I made on the inside of the card? ….No? Well, I stamp crooked too! Never fear, you can easily rectify mistakes by just stamping the greeting on a scrap piece and punch it out with a punch, I used the wide oval here, but haven’t included it in the list below because I know you will stamp straight with the aid of a stamp-a-majig! Serves me right for being lazy!
Here’s what I used for this card. I haven’t duplicated the pics – one is for wood mount, the other for clear mount.
As it’s Sunday, do you have time for another? How about a card for a Teenager?
I lined up the start of the “holes” for baby’s legs which go through the babygro and trimmed it off to create the T-shirts. The hangers were stamped directly on to the Whisper White card front. The tie dye effect on the Tees were done by scribbling a choice of 3 colours with the 2014-16 markers on to a clear block, spritzed with water, then WhisperWhite card stock placed on top to blot the water up and you get this effect which you can then run through Big Shot with the appropriate die. I sponged the edges with Blackberry Bliss for some contrast and popped them on dimensionals. Voila – a groovy card for a Teenage of either gender!
