Festival of Trees – pyramid card

Festival of Trees – pyramid card. Talk about a trip down memory lane – the pyramid style card was a swap from lovely Sam, a fellow team mate back in 2009!  I’m re-visiting this fun-fold as I thought it would suit the Festival of Trees stamp set.  It was also one of the first  techniques I ever taught when I made my first foray into the Stampin’ Up! world!

Back of card

This is the back of the card. The blank circle is for writing the recipient’s name and to say who it’s from just in case you’re wondering!

Side view

This is the side view. You can see where a slot has been cut so that you can tuck the flap in to form the pyramid. You may have to leave instructions to the recipient as to how to tuck the flap in to form the pyramid card for display.

Card folded flat

Here’s the card folded out flat so you can see where I’ve cut a slot 1cm up from bottom edge and 4 cm in from right corner of square.  The Slot is cut parallel to left edge of square.  You can see my original creation HERE for some instructions.
