Yay! It’s the weekend – Sheer Perfection!
Aha! Here’s another type of Sheer Pefection though – Sheer Perfection Designer Vellum Stack! This is one of the new Sale-A-Bration freebies which you can choose as your free option with a £45 net sale spend! It doesn’t leap off the page when pictured like this so I’ve been busy making up one or two samples with it! They are translucent vellum paper ideal for showing off colours underneath and it is also acid and lignin free.
There are 24 sheets, 2 each of 12 one sided designs measuring 6″x 6″ or 15.2cm x 15.2cm square.
It’s a different story when you use it as a backdrop through a die cut butterfly.
What else do you espy? Yes, a new Sale-A-Bration stamp set – this one “For Being You” is available both in Wood or Clear Mount and the stamp with the four hearts actually coordinate with the Heart Border punch!
So for the inside of this card, I used my marker pens – Melon Mambo, Strawberry Slush, and Pink Pirouette. I was hoping for varying shades of pink – dark, medium and light but as you can see, there is very little difference between Melon Mambo on the “T” and Strawberry Slush on the “H” and pattern repeated for N, K & S.
This stamp set was designed with Blendabilities in mind but Stampin’ Up! withdrew Blendabilities due to quality issues wef 27 February until further notice. If any of my customers have ordered or received them as part of their Sale-A-Bration item, please check that they are OK. If not, please email me and let me know. Stampin’ Up! are working hard to rectify this and as soon as I have news, I will pass it on.
For this card, I’ve coloured in one of the blooms on the back of this piece – measuring 3″x 3″ (7.6 cm x 7.6 cm) so you can get 4 out of one 6″x 6″ (15.2 cm x 15.2 cm) sheet if you want to be economical with it.
