Happy Easter and an Easter Vignette

I hope you’re enjoying your long holiday weekend over Easter wherever in the world you may be and if perchance you find time to visit and read my post today, HAPPY EASTER!!!   No, I’m not shouting, just turning the volume up a tad to wish you a Happy Easter Day!

I had fun making this little Easter Vignette – you can make so many things with the curvy keepsake die. There’s a great store of talent from people who pin on pinterest and it’s all out there for us to discover. The way I create is seeing something which will spark off my own imagination.  I often wonder how we coped before the worldwide web was discovered, and without it today, it’s like losing life and limb!

Interactive shaker card

Children love interactive cards, so I thought a shaker card would be just the ticket.    I punched a variety of circles and adhered a scalloped circle frame around each.  Stampin’ Up! supplies shaker frames  and they were ideal for making this card.  I inked the five-egg stamp with coloured markers before stamping then hand cut them to put in the shaker frame.

Squeeze Open easter box

Last Wednesday I published a youtube tutorial on how to make these squeeze shut boxes which you can find here. Here are the list of supplies I used for the card and the squeeze open box.  Hover over the bottom right corner for more details, or click to take you directly to the item in my online store should you wish to make a purchase.
