Stampin’ Up! partners with Ronald McDonald House Charities ® (RMHC) to bring comfort and creativity to the lives of RHMC house guests. Each year, thousands of families stay at independently operated RHMC houses all over the world. Recently a new one opened in Southampton. You can find out more about them here.
These houses serve as temporary homes for families of seriously ill children who are being treated in nearby hospitals – “a home away from home”. Stampin’ Up! makes an annual contribution to RMHC and every
year they design an exclusive stamp set in aid of this charity. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this stamp set will be donated to the organisation. This year’s set is called Sprinkles of Life.
If you have a sick child and the chips are down, you cling on to hope, and one of the images is a “cloud” which can also be the topping of a cupcake! One of the sentiments “Every cloud has a silver lining – you just have to look up to see it”.
I silver embossed the cloud, cut the binding off one side of the silver taffeta ribbon and shredded it then adhered it to the back of the cloud with dimensionals.
I’ve used the tree builder punch on both these cards. They are so different from each other. The card above is also from Sprinkles of Life. This lists the materials used for Mint Macaron card only.
Thanks for visiting.
