What am I referring to? This gorgeous Dahlia – called Definitely Dahlia background stamp! It covers the whole card front and then some!
Do you like my new bird house? Hubby thought I was mad getting it – ‘cos I didn’t really want it for birds to actually nest in – toooo pretty! Much as I love my feathered friends, this was so beautifully constructed I wanted it for display and photography purposes!
People might call this battleship grey, in Stampin’ Up! speak – I’d say it is more Smoky Slate with a dash of blue – a blue grey perhaps?
Hubs is away for the weekend, but I have some of my lovely team joining me for our July Quarterly Meeting today – and these are the swaps I made. I’ve scheduled this for later in the morning as I do not want to spoil the surprise!
I wanted to use the new Blushing Bride sequin trim – so can you believe it? I designed the whole card round these sequins! lol!
I left 3 sequins strung together for the body, and used 2 strands of the trailing thread as the butterfly’s antennae!
Here’s the list of supplies I used. Multiple images usually mean that the stamp set is available in Wood Mount and Clear Mount, just hover over the bottom right corner of each picture for more details or click to take you directly to my online store if you wish to make a purchase.
The greeting “happy birthday” is from a Hostess Set called “Happy Birthday! Everyone” which can only be earned with Hostess rewards/credits so I haven’t included it in the list above.
