Truth be known, I missed this stamp set completely until I saw some samples popping up on the worldwide web – and no wonder, it was right at the beginning of the 2015-16 catalogue on page 8. Sometimes, the things you miss, make the most lovely projects.
This card was lovingly made for my daughter’s birthday earlier in the week – a bit of floral overload! I love this set because it has a coordinating punch. The smaller cluster of flowers were stamped on a scrap of Whisper White card stock in Mint Macaron ink. The leaves were stamped on Mint Macaron card stock and I fussy cut both the flower clusters and leaves so I could pop them on dimensionals for a 3D effect.
I had some left over pom pom trim from the All Boxed Up Kit, so I used the pom-pom bits for the flower centres and adhered a strip of pearls around the base to encase it.
Here is a list of the supplies I used. Multiple images indicate that the stamp sets are separately listed for Wood, Clear or Photopolymer if applicable.
She loved it. Sadly, all good things have to come to an end, and she went home yesterday with her boys so am missing them. Enjoy your Sunday.
That is a gorgeous card Elaine- I didn't really notice that set either and like you have seen some lovely makes. I completely understand how you're feeling now that your daughter and her boys have left – I always fond it hard to settle to anything for a whole after they've gone. Hope your foot is getting better. Anne x
Bless you Anne, so kind – thank you. I hope you're feeling more cheered yourself and that your afternoon tea went well. much love E
